Automatic Single-Shaft Seat Grinding Machine
The UB-MCZ800A is an automatic single-shaft seat grinding machine for carbide-tipped circular saw blades. The seat is the small pocket at each tooth position on the blade body, and it is the surface the carbide tip is brazed onto. If the seats are not flat, square and all at the same radius, the tip sits crooked, and tooth grinding afterwards can only take that error down so far; that is why seat grinding comes before brazing. This one covers the large-diameter range as well as the small, from 100 to 800 mm blade diameter, with arbor sizes 12 to 50 mm and tooth pitches 8 to 50 mm. It grinds 10 to 30 teeth a minute for a shift output of about 15,000 teeth.
