Full Automatic Hole Saw Brazing Machine (Robot Arm)
The UB-HKB32S is a fully automatic hole saw brazing machine — it brazes carbide teeth into hole-saw bodies rather than flat circular blades. Brazing is the joint the whole tool depends on: the tooth is set into its prepared seat and held there by a brazed filler, and a weak joint loses the tooth in the cut however well it was ground afterwards. This machine brazes 500 teeth an hour to a joint strength of 120 MPa or better, positioning each tooth to within 30 microns. It covers hole saws from 16 to 32 mm diameter, front angles -5 to +30 degrees, and teeth 3.5 to 10 mm long, 1.5 to 12 mm wide and 1.4 to 6 mm thick. Loading is hands-free end to end, so one operator can run more than 10 machines.
Highlights
- A vibratory bowl feeds and aligns the hole-saw bodies and a robot arm clamps them, so no body is loaded by hand
- Tooth selection, flux dispensing, wire feeding, brazing and tempering all run automatically for a secure joint
- An infrared pyrometer holds brazing temperature to within 1 degree, which is what makes joint strength repeatable
- An ultra-high-frequency induction heating controller with imported electrics: compact, low energy use, high throughput
