Full Automatic Back Angle Grinding Machine (Robot Arm)

The UB-MLH260J is a fully automatic back angle grinding machine for carbide-tipped circular saw blades. Back angle grinding forms the clearance behind the cutting edge: the top of the tooth falls away from the edge so that the edge alone meets the work and the heel of the tooth is not dragged through the cut. That surface is brazed carbide rather than steel, so it is ground with a diamond wheel: 220# or 280# on this machine, holding grinding precision to 0.03 mm at 20 teeth a minute. It works in a semi-enclosed cabinet and covers blades from 100 to 260 mm diameter, arbor sizes 12 to 50 mm and tooth pitches 5 to 65 mm. One operator can run 10 to 15 machines.

  • All left teeth are ground before all right teeth, which cuts head-reversal time and steadies throughput
