Fully Automatic Front and Back Angle Grinding Machine

The UB-MQH300B is a fully automatic front and back angle grinding machine for carbide-tipped circular saw blades, built from two front-and-back-angle modules. The front angle is the rake face that meets the workpiece first; the back angle is the clearance behind the cutting edge. Diamond wheels run 180# to 600# on both angles, at 4 to 20 teeth a minute. A three-axis gantry robot loads from a multi-blade platform that detects and corrects mis-stacked blades. The grinding units are modular cast iron on HIWIN roller guideways and NSK precision bearings, holding accuracy to 0.02 mm, and the guideway drive and electrical cabinet sit behind a sealed partition away from the coolant. It covers blades from 100 to 315 mm diameter with arbor sizes 10 to 32 mm and tooth pitches up to 80 mm, and one operator can run several machines.

Front-angle grinding offers a fast oscillating step-feed pass or a repeated reciprocating step-feed pass
Full bus servo PLC control with remote monitoring, plus physical buttons and an electronic handwheel for tool setting
